About Us
As a mathematics professional, you recognize the importance of mathematics education in the state of Wisconsin. WisMATYC is an organization that offers you the opportunity to connect with others who are interested in mathematics education during the first two years of college.
Please accept this invitation to join our organization. We aim to build a strong professional community that includes faculty and staff from all campuses in the UW System (including former UW Colleges locations), the Wisconsin Technical College System, and other public and private institutions in Wisconsin and beyond. If you are committed to mathematics education in the first two years of college, WisMATYC is the professional organization for you.
WisMATYC is a state affiliate of the national organization AMATYC. Together, these organizations address current issues in mathematics education and uniquely serve professionals who prioritize freshman- and sophomore-level students in their careers.
